About Your Privacy

Aquaruis Aromatherapy & Soap.com feels strongly about our customers' privacy. We will not distribute or otherwise make public your email address or other personal information.

For each customer (defined as a visitor that successfully consummates a sale), we store the data necessary to fulfill the order. The information we collect is used to improve the content and navigation of our site, to customize the content and/or layout of the page to each individual consumer for maximum experience value, to notify consumers about updates to our Web site, to complete user-initiated transactions, to trace false orders, and to contact consumers for marketing purposes, if they so desire and explicitly give permission.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES.

Persons who supply us with their telephone number(s) or email address may receive telephone calls or email from us with information or requests for information regarding orders they have placed online. For your benefit, please provide us with your correct phone number(s) and/or email address.

Under no circumstances will we share personal information regarding any of our visitors (name, e-mail address, phone number, etc.) with any third party unless authorized by you to do so.

128-bit Encryption

To make sure that your order and personal/credit information is secure and confidential, you must use a web browser that has 128-bit secure sockets layer encryption.

What is Encryption and why do we use it?

Encryption is a way of encoding information before it's transmitted over the Internet. Your encrypted order data will be decoded on our protected server.

We use encryption to ensure that no unauthorized party will access your personal information. Data from your computer is encrypted before being sent. This alters your data into a format that can be safely transmitted over the Internet. Once the data is encrypted, it cannot be read until it reaches its destination and is decrypted, using an encryption key.

If you use Netscape Navigator™

When you visit a Web site that's not secure, the key symbol at the bottom left of your screen is broken and sits against a light blue background. When you're in a secure Web site, the key is solid (not broken) and is shown against a darker blue background.

If the key has one large tooth, then 40-bit encryption software is in use and you should upgrade your version to 128-bit encryption. If the key has two large teeth, then you're using 128-bit encryption.

If you use Microsoft Internet Explorer®

When you're in a secure Web site, a lock symbol appears at the bottom right of your screen. This shows that data is being encrypted.

However, to determine what level of encryption your version of the software provides, you have to check the properties function of your browser. At the top of your browser screen, click under the "Help" column, then select "About Internet Explorer." This screen will tell you the version of browser you're using and the level of security you have. If this screen doesn't indicate 128-bit encryption, you should upgrade your browser.
